Our Philosophy

Our Story

It all began with a simple market stall in Dublin back in 2011, where we made a name for ourselves with our unique, “new-school”, take on fish and chips.

We broke down the classic fish and chips dish into all of its basic ingredients, and built it back up again with big portions of extra love and care to ensure every single part of the dish was of the highest quality, and sourced from the absolute best suppliers. Everything is made on-site; from our sauces, all the way across to our own very special seaweed salt.

To this day we only work with 100% sustainable small fisheries, day-boats, and fantastic local suppliers, ensuring sustainability and responsibility in everything we do. Even the way we serve our food is in recycled, re-usable, wooden packaging, and our take-away cutlery is made of 100% biodegradable corn starch.

Our core ethos is simple; awesome food, served by amazing people, in fantastic locations. It’s how it all began, and it’s how we will stay.

Our Food

Our food is a true new-school take on the classic fish and chips. Using delicate panko breadcrumbs and tempura batter, we season our fresh fish to perfection with a selection of hand crafted herbs and spices.

Our entire menu is scratch-cooked on site daily, and you really can taste the freshness striking right through the exquisite fish we proudly source daily from our friends in Cornwall.

We love to inject excitement and freshness into our menu wherever possible, so change our specials fortnightly.

Sustainability & Suppliers

We only work with the best, most sustainable, ethically-focused suppliers we can find in the UK.

SRA-acredited, water aid and fairtrade are just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to our striving to really aim to be the absolute best-of-the-best when it comes to responsible operating.

From our 100% biodegradable corn-starch cutlery, to our reusable, reclaimed wood, service boxes, all the way to being heavily involved with local schools and colleges world-wide teaching about sustainablity, we reflect our love of the Earth and it’s communities in everything we do.
